I have been involved in conservation work since the 1980s working in both Canada and New Zealand. Currently I serve as Co-Chair of the Southern Lakes Sanctuary, an exciting landscape scale conservation project  where we are working to bring back the birdsong in the Queenstown Lakes Region and our native taonga species from extinction.
